Pianist and multi-keyboardist Jacob Greenberg’s work as a soloist and chamber musician has received worldwide acclaim. A longtime member of the International Contemporary Ensemble, he has performed throughout the Americas and Europe. In his home base of Berlin, he directs Close Range, a teaching venue with diverse keyboards for canonical and modern repertoire. His touring concert series, Keyboard Play, spans centuries of music through period-specific and anachronistic instrumental mediums in a colorful historical dialogue.

A noted champion of new music, violinist and composer Tom Chiu has performed over 200 premieres worldwide by influential composers such as Virko Baley, Julio Estrada, Oliver Lake, Alvin Lucier, Roscoe Mitchell, Somei Satoh, and Henry Threadgill, among many others.  He has also worked closely with free jazz innovator Ornette Coleman, with whom he appeared at the Walker Arts Center in 2005.

Strongly influenced by the “anything-goes” philosophy of the fluxus art movement, violinist Tom Chiu founded FLUX in the late 90’s. The FLUX Quartet,”one of the most fearless and important new-music ensembles around” (San Francisco Chronicle), has performed to rave reviews in venues worldwide.

In 2019, Ida Kavafian completed her 35-year tenure as artistic director of the Music from Angel Fire chamber music festival in New Mexico. A frequent artist of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center for more than 40 years and former violinist of the renowned Beaux Arts Trio, Kavafian currently performs as a soloist; in recital with her sister, violinist Ani Kavafian; as a guest with distinguished ensembles; and as a faculty member at the Curtis Institute of Music. She’s premiered many new works, toured and recorded with fiddler/composer Mark O’Connor and with jazz greats Chick Corea and Wynton Marsalis, and had a solo feature on CBS Sunday Morning. She premiered and recorded Michael Daugherty’s violin concerto Fire and Blood with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and, as a violist, toured and recorded with the Guarneri Quartet and performed with the Orion, Shanghai, and American string quartets.

Violist Steven Tenenbom has established a distinguished career as a chamber musician, soloist, recitalist, and teacher. He’s worked with composer Lukas Foss and jazz artist Chick Corea, and he’s appeared as a guest artist with ensembles and organizations such as the Guarneri Quartet, Emerson String Quartet, Beaux Arts Trio, Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, and Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.

Cellist Eric Kim enjoys a diverse career as a recitalist, a chamber musician, an orchestral soloist, and a teacher. He made his solo debut at age 15 with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra; since then, he’s been a featured soloist with the Cincinnati, Denver, and San Diego symphony orchestras, and he’s collaborated with conductors Alan Gilbert, Zubin Mehta, Paavo Järvi, Jesús López Cobos, Lawrence Foster, Sergiu Comissiona, Gianandrea Noseda, and Stanisław Skrowaczewski. He was also a featured soloist with the Juilliard Orchestra during the ensemble’s critically acclaimed tour of the Far East.

Praised for her “superb technical acumen and sensitive musicality” (South Florida Classical Review), Grace Browning has established herself as a versatile ensemble harpist, dynamic soloist, and passionate teaching artist. Equally at home with both symphonic and operatic repertoire, Browning was appointed principal harp of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra in 2017 and The Santa Fe Opera Orchestra in 2015. She can be heard on Grammy Award–winning recordings by both ensembles: American Rapture and The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs, respectively.

Gregory Zuber is the principal percussionist for the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, which he joined in 1986. He’s toured the United States, Europe, and Japan with the Met, and he’s been featured with the orchestra as a concerto soloist at Carnegie Hall. He can be heard regularly on the Met’s radio broadcasts, satellite radio broadcasts, and HD movie theater broadcasts.
