Event details
Tickets for this concert are currently only available as part of a subscription series. Individual tickets go on sale in February 2024.
Dubbed “powerhouse” performers by Classical Voice America, the Verona Quartet makes their Festival debut with this rich and wide-ranging recital. The last of Mozart’s charming “Milanese quartets” opens the program. Britten’s delicate and ephemeral 3rd quartet is full of character and color. Giuseppe Verdi’s only string quartet transports listeners into the world of Italian opera on a small, yet potent scale.
