Schubert & Beethoven
Event details
Tickets for this concert are currently only available as part of a subscription series. Individual tickets go on sale in February 2024.
This piano trio program unfolds entirely in the key of E-flat Major, which is often described as expressing qualities of grandeur and majesty. It opens with the floating theme of Schubert’s Notturno, blooms into Beethoven’s uncommonly lighthearted Op. 70, No. 2, and closes with one of the masterpieces from Schubert’s final year, his Piano Trio D. 929. An internationally renowned cast of artists comes together for this tender, thrilling, and radiant program.
