Paolo Bordignon is the harpsichordist for the New York Philharmonic. In the 2022–23 season, he appears with the Philadelphia Orchestra, American Symphony Orchestra, Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and Mark Morris Dance Group; Camerata Pacifica; and the New York City–based orchestra The Knights. Recent engagements include performances with the Boston Symphony Chamber Players, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra musicians, the All-Star Orchestra, Lincoln Center’s Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, ECCO (the East Coast Chamber Orchestra), and The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. He’s also appeared at the Bard Music Festival in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York; on the Parlance Chamber Concerts series in Ridgewood, New Jersey; and at festivals in Aspen, Bridgehampton, Jackson Hole, Palm Beach, and Vail. He’s also been a frequent recitalist at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where he’s held a 10-concert residency.

Zoltán Fejérvári has emerged as one of the most intriguing pianists among the newest generation of Hungarian musicians. He won first prize at the 2017 Concours Musical International de Montréal and is a recipient of a 2016 Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship. He’s given recitals throughout Europe and the Americas at venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York City and the Place des Arts in Montreal, Gasteig in Munich, Auditorium del Lingotto in Turin, Biblioteca Nacional in Buenos Aires, Palau de la Música de València, and Liszt Academy in Budapest.

Benny Kim is first violinist for the Miami String Quartet and is known for his versatility as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher. Engagements include recital appearances at the 92nd Street Y in New York City and The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC; festival appearances in Santa Fe, Savannah, and Angel Fire; and concertos with the Chicago, Boston, and St. Louis symphony orchestras. Kim is an associate professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory, and he appears on several recordings.

Toby Appel has appeared in recital and concerto performances throughout North and South America, Europe, and the Far East. He’s been a member of such renowned ensembles as TASHI and the Lenox and Audubon quartets; a guest artist with the Vermeer, Manhattan, Alexander, and Dover quartets; and a frequent guest with The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and jazz artists Chick Corea and Gary Burton. His festival appearances include Mostly Mozart; Chamber Music Northwest; the Seattle Chamber Music Society; Music from Angel Fire; the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival; the Marlboro, Manchester, Colorado College Summer, and Bravo! Vail music festivals; and festivals in England, France, Korea, Germany, Italy, Finland, and Greece.

Festival Debut

Since winning the Cello First Prize and Gold Medal at the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2011 at the age of 22, Narek Hakhnazaryan has performed with most major orchestras across the globe. The “dazzlingly brilliant” (The Strad) cellist also frequently performs in recital and chamber music settings, for which his playing has been described as “nothing short of magnificent” (San Francisco Chronicle).

Most recently seen as part of a trio in residence at the Wiener Konzerthaus and as a soloist with the Royal Philharmonic and Barcelona Symphony Orchestras, Hakhnazaryan opens his 2023-24 season playing chamber music of Beethoven, Mozart and Elgar with the Camerata Pacifica in venues throughout California. Abroad, he performs with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Gran Canaria Orchestra, and Aalborg Symphony Orchestra. Alongside pianist Zhang Zuo and violinist Esther Yoo, he tours China and Europe as the Z.E.N. Trio.

Anthony Manzo’s vibrantly interactive and highly communicative music making has made him a ubiquitous figure in the upper echelons of classical music, performing at noted venues including Lincoln Center in NYC, Boston’s Symphony Hall, and the Spoleto Festival in Charleston.

Robert Ingliss is principal oboe of the New Jersey Symphony and The Santa Fe Opera Orchestra. He’s premiered solo and chamber music works by numerous composers, including Milton Babbitt, Elliott Carter, Marc-André Dalbavie, Henri Dutilleux, and Charles Wuorinen. He’s performed in more than 30 countries on five continents, and, as a soloist, his engagements have included the American Symphony Orchestra, Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players, League of Composers/ISCM Chamber Players, New Jersey Symphony, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Santa Fe Pro Musica, and the Washington Square Music Festival, among others. Ingliss has taught at Columbia University, Sarah Lawrence College, SUNY Purchase, and the University of Connecticut.

Gregory Zuber is the principal percussionist for the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, which he joined in 1986. He’s toured the United States, Europe, and Japan with the Met, and he’s been featured with the orchestra as a concerto soloist at Carnegie Hall. He can be heard regularly on the Met’s radio broadcasts, satellite radio broadcasts, and HD movie theater broadcasts.
