Jamie Kim

Jamie Kim is a puppet artist who has worked with diverse communities in Los Angeles and abroad to create street theatricals, festivals, and live performances. She is trained in traditional Korean folk art, drumming, and a wide array of puppet/mask build & performances.

Since moving to Santa Fe NM in 2015, she has been teaching puppetry at IAIA and continues to perform with her troupe in Los Angeles. She also works for the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival Education as Program Coordinator of the Dream Big Private Lesson Program which provides access to professional one-on-one private lessons to music students in the Santa Fe Public Schools. Through the SFCMF education programs, she advocates for access to high-quality arts/music education for students in underserved communities.
