Here at the Festival, we started 2025 on a high note by welcoming back one of our cherished former colleagues, Joseph Hohlfeld, who began his new role as Director of Development on Thursday, January 2.
Joseph joined the Festival in 2017 as a Development and Special Events Intern. Over the years he worked his way up to the position of Development Operations and Research Manager before moving into the role of membership manager for The Lensic Performing Arts Center in 2023.
In addition to his lifetime passion for the arts, Joseph—who holds a degree in business arts management from the Santa Fe University of Art and Design, where he was an active board member for the school’s City Different Fest—has extensive experience in arts fundraising, event coordination, and community engagement. We’re thrilled to welcome him back to the Festival, and we hope you’ll reach out to say hello and to wish him all the best in his new role.
