2025 Artist Profile: Tony Award-winning Actor John Rubinstein Returns
John Rubinstein is a Tony, Drama Desk, and Theatre World Award-winning actor known for his Broadway roles in Pippin and Children of a Lesser God. He’s also an Emmy-nominated TV star (Family, Crazy Like a Fox), a versatile film actor (Being the Ricardos, Red Dragon), and a composer for film and TV (China Beach, The Candidate). Additionally, he’s hosted Carnegie Hall Tonight, narrated over 200 audiobooks, and is a longtime Festival collaborator.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers help our concerts run smoothly—from greeting patrons and distributing program books to assisting the Ticket Office. Plus, they watch any concert they work for free.
SFCMF Radio Broadcasts
The Festival is on the air! Our weekly radio series is broadcast nationally on WFMT from April through June. In New Mexico, the series can be heard on Classical 95.5 KHFM.
Music Education Programs
Our programs provide enrichment for children, youth, and adults in New Mexico–including classroom training in strings and guitar, private lessons, and a Young Composers Project.
